What Is L&T Build India Scholarship (BIS)?

Eligibility Criteria for L&T BIS 2026

  • Academic Qualification: You must be pursuing your final year BE/B.Tech in Core Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering and be expected to graduate in 2026. You must be studying at a recognized Indian university/institute.
  • Academic Performance: You should have a minimum academic aggregate of 70% or a 7.0 CGPA (out of 10).
  • Age Limit: You should not be more than 24 years of age as of 01/07/2026.

📌 Is GATE Required for L&T BIS?

L&T BIS does not require a GATE score. Selection is based on L&T’s written test and interview process.

Selection Process for L&T BIS 2026

L&T follows a structured and merit-based selection process:

  1. Step 1: Written Test (Technical + Aptitude): Registered applicants who are shortlisted will be invited for a written test, which includes technical and aptitude assessments.
  2. Step 2: Interview: Candidates who qualify in the written test will be invited for the interview process.

Final selection for admission to the M.Tech (CTAM) program with BIS will be based on performance in the written test, the interview, eligibility for the qualifying degree, and medical fitness.
